I don’t know why you’re here –
But there is probably a reason.
On this page, I will give you some basic information about me. If this is enough, great. If not, you can find ways to contact me in the text below.
Feel free to ask me anything or to invite me for a drink. I’m excited to get to know you.
tl;dr
Since I have seen a lot during the years, the text became a bit longer. But that’s what you can expect:
That’s me:
ou can call my life restless. In the past, I was based in different places, such as Germany, Spain, the Maldives, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
I studied and worked in media, tourism, and hospitality.
That’s what I can help you with.
If you have any questions about
- Moving to Southeast East Asia
- Working in tourism or hospitality (i.e. with AirBnB)
- Setting up a base or even a business in Indonesia
you can contact me, and we can talk about it.
Let me tell you something more about me,
that’s why you are here, isn’t it?
I was born and raised in Leipzig, in the eastern part of Germany. Later, I moved to different cities in Germany, where I learned about hotels, catering, marketing, and media. But my life still felt a bit static. So I grabbed my stuff and moved to Germany’s most famous beach island, Mallorca. I got insights into the tour operator business and worked closely with many hotels on the island.
Next move: After some years, I needed another scene change. So I moved to the Canary Islands. I intensified my tour operator knowledge and enriched it with a better understanding of aviation processes.
After a season in the Maldives, I moved back to Germany and completed my knowledge by studying tourism. This was supposed to be the beginning of a settlement back in Germany. Still, after I received my degree, it took me 2 weeks to jump on an airplane again. I traveled to South East Asia and somehow fell in love with traveling again. I applied to the cruise industry instead of applying for an office job. Since then, I have traveled the world either by cruise ship or individually.
An even bigger move: I moved to Bali, Indonesia, and took over a small Bed & Breakfast on the charming island of Gili Trawangan. It seemed to be a good way to use the skills I collected during the past years. I decided to share these skills with people who want to live their dream of having a business in Indonesia.
After one big earthquake and a pandemic, I still run my little business here.
I finally settled down and live a beautiful life in Bali. I’m still traveling for work and leisure, but I know where to go backand feel at home.
